September 16, 2010 Regular Meeting Agenda Item #9 Item Title Adopt the 2010-11 Capital Improvement Fund Mill Levy Issue/Rationale 1.500 Mill Levy - Section 1011.71(2), F.S. for new construction and remodeling, maintenance, renovations, and repairs of existing school plants or of leased facilities; the purchase, lease-purchase or lease of school buses or new and replacement equipment; payments for facilities and sites an amount equal to three-fourths of the proceeds from the millage; payment of costs of leasing relocatable educational facilities. Recommended Action Motion to adopt the capital improvement fund mill levy of 1.50 which is (7.99) percent less than the rolled-back rate.
